Expanding on its commitment to give back through business, EveryEventGives will not charge its fee to school events of any kind.

Columbia, MO – Online ticketing company EveryEventGives announced today it will stop charging its fee to all school related events. This will include official school events and those sponsored by student groups, parent groups, boosters, and other.

“From day one, our goal at EveryEventGives is to make giving a core part of our mission” founding CEO Sean Spence said. “As we have grown, our ability to serve has grown and now we are able to waive all of our fees for schools. Education is extremely important to us, and to many of our customers, and we are pretty excited to be able to do this.”

School-related customers will still need to pay the 3% fee to cover credit and debit card fees (as well as PayPal), but this will be a pass-through that goes straight to those companies.

EveryEventGives provides an easy way for independent event planners and non-profit organizations to sell tickets online. With giving at the core of the company’s mission, EveryEventGives contributes 50 cents of its fee for every ticket sold to the charity of the event host’s choice, and waives its fee entirely for school-related events.
