Taste samples from the area’s best cookbook authors, watch live demos from star coobook chefs such as James Beard Award Hall of Famer Jean Anderson and James Beard Award Semi-Finalist Lionel Vatinet of La Farm Bakery. You’ll have the opportunity to interact with the authors, buy their books, and have them inscribed. All money from ticket sales goes to support the Durham Library Foundation.
To kick-off the Read Local Book Festival, we’re bringing together some the area’s most talented cookbook authors. They’ll have demos, tastings, and, of course, cookbooks for you to enjoy. The event is generously hosted by Belt Line Station.
Learn from the best with live demos from stars Jean Anderson, a James Beard Award Hall of Fame member, and Lionel Vatinet of La Farm Bakery, a James Beard Award Semi-Finalist. And taste samples from cookbook authors Belinda Ellis, Sara Foster, Debbie Moose, Jay Pierce, Denise Souza, and Craig LeHoullier.
